The PSA02 is a single-channel loop detector used to detect vehicles through an inductive loop installation. The official eSSL specification lists 20–1500µH sensing range, seven sensitivity selections between 0.02% and 0.2%, and a reaction time of 50ms.
The detector provides two output relays, with Relay 1 designated as the presence relay and Relay 2 as the pulse/fault relay. eSSL specifies selectable operating modes for presence/pulse and pulse/fault output.
The unit supports limited-presence and permanent-presence modes, pulse entry and pulse exit modes, and 200ms pulse output timing. Internal protection includes an isolation transformer, voltage regulator tube and voltage-dependent resistor.
