AMC & Maintenance

A biometric machine that is never serviced does not fail dramatically — it starts missing punches, refusing clean fingerprints, drifting on time and losing door events. By the time HR notices the attendance register has holes in it, the dispute is already with payroll. An AMC exists to prevent exactly that, and to fix a breakdown on the same day when prevention was not enough.

Our contracts combine scheduled preventive maintenance with priority break-fix support. On each preventive visit an engineer cleans and calibrates sensors, checks door locks and closers, tests battery and power backup, verifies network and sync health, updates firmware where appropriate, backs up configuration and hands over a signed service report. Spare parts are quoted transparently, and commonly used consumables are kept in stock for your region.

The commercial part is refreshingly simple: a defined scope, a defined response time, and no vague promises. Contracts run for one to three years, with a defined number of preventive visits per site per year and priority emergency response — typically same-day in metro locations and next-day elsewhere for contract customers. Non-AMC customers are still served, but on a best-effort basis and with parts charged at premium rates.

An AMC also protects what you have invested. Machines that are looked after every few months last years longer, fingerprints stay reliable in dusty or oily environments, and door hardware stops drifting out of alignment. If you run attendance, access control and CCTV, a single combined AMC gives you one vendor and one point of accountability for the whole security stack.
