Installation & Commissioning

A biometric system is only as reliable as the installation behind it: the cable that was run badly, the lock that does not align, the power supply that was never sized for the load. MegaMind installation and commissioning is handled by certified engineers who install what our own survey recommended, test it properly and hand it over with documentation.

Work begins with a pre-installation check against the approved plan — cable routes and conduits, network switch ports, power points and UPS capacity, and the mounting heights that suit your workforce. Devices, controllers, locks, turnstiles and scanners are then mounted, wired and terminated, with structured cabling that stays serviceable when someone later needs to trace a fault. On the software side we set up the server or cloud account, user roles, departments, shifts, doors, zones and device mappings before enrolment begins.

Commissioning is the part most vendors skip. Every terminal is tested for genuine and rejected reading, every door for release and fail-safe behaviour, every report for the date range HR will actually run, and backup power for the moment the mains drops. Employee enrolment is planned in batches so production or classes are not disrupted, and admins receive hands-on training with a short reference guide.

After handover we stay involved: a post-installation review confirms the system is behaving as designed, and AMC options take over preventive maintenance, firmware and spares. Multi-city rollouts follow one standard configuration so a branch in one city behaves exactly like a branch in another.
